I used to love riding my bike through the cemetary. The downhill was always fun and on the uphill I would get lazy and actually hang onto the little trolley that runs the tours...

I loved living on Ft. Myer.

 

I like the trail on the waterfront...I need to buy a new bike so I can enjoy Great Falls more often

 

I actually really enjoy riding my bike over in the District, too. Keep sth adrenaline flowing for sure!!

Nah...nothin' about DC really scares me that much. The people are actually really nice (the ones without the guns) and you get a lot of opportunities to talk to them when you're in traffic on a bike...

 

I would agree with you about 90% of the time...unfortunately I had a bad experience with a guy, a gun and the back of my head about three years ago.

 

I've encountered the odd attempted mugging in DC in my past, but thus far no triggers have been pulled. Well, except for that time in 6th grade when some @$$hole in out in Fairfax County started shooting at me with a rifle from the middle of Royal Lake!!!
