My Android has one of the rubbery ones - it's a tire tread. My iPhone is in need of something new but I can't decide. The Otter Box makes sense, but I don't like how bulky they all are.

http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B008...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 <--I had this on my iPhone too, but the part that goes around where the charger plugs in got all wonky. Definitely is better on the Android.

This is the one I want to switch up, even though it's pretty sturdy: http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B004...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Yeah bulky doesn't agree w/mom either and from what I see they don't really have any cute OBox ones like my Mickey etc....

So after shattering my screen and having to buy a new phone I am ordering a hideous OBox. Still looking at my options.

I've replaced the screen glass on my son in laws new Galaxy and now my daughter has broken the glass on hers.

That Samsung is WAY to fragile. I was shocked to see how thin the glass was. I've read estimates as high as one in six are cracked by their users.

The iPhone isn't any better in the screen department but it's body construction offers better protection. That's something you'd lose with the C model.

That 1 in 6 number wouldn't surprise me. My options when I dropped the phone were:
1. Pay $225 to buy out my free phone and start a new contract with another phone.
2. Pay $150-250 to fix it (from what I read, the phone's lcd and glass screen are fused together so it would probably be $$$$$$$$$)
3. Buy a new phone outright.
Even though I opted for a cheap phone to get me through the rest of my contract, I actually like it better than the one it replaced.
