I used to get about 6000mi from my stock rears, so 60% life is 3600 - still more than i get now.

i'll give the RE01's a shot if i can find some online

I have used SO2's, & SO3's, the O3's were alot better in the wet, but the treadlife was abysmal.

I run with Yoko's...AVS ES100's. The road noise is Bridgestone-like. The tread life is much better, and they are by far the best overall performance tire I have used in rain conditions, given the price.

When I shop for tires my primary concern is always finding a good balance vetween dry weather performance and wet weather traction.... tread life comes third.

No Hoosier choice in your poll? it, then.

Oh, street poser tires? IMHO S03's are the best in the wet. I've run confindently at over 100mph on puddle-laden freeways without even a hint of a wiggle from the 'stones. Even on corded S03s, very few people can keep up with me at Deal's Gap.

I've driven PZero slicks and hoosier r3s03s on the street. it was not fun. anything under 30mph and they just pick up debris like super glue. i also tried drag radials as a daily and they started coming apart - something about not intended for sustained high speeds?

i can't get S-03s because they dont make them big enough (only up to a 285). in fact, none of the bridgestones are big enough

jimmay, martin. if wet performance were not an issue, what would y'all be driving on?

I think the S02's are great in the dry, but there are a lot of possibilities besides them.... PS2's are a great set of rubber, I've just never used them personally on one of my own street cars...I've driven other rides with them. I was really impressed.

My only gripe would be tread life. Don't get me wrong...you play hard you pay hard.... but I think the 8000 to 9000 miles I got on my S02's before they started looking like slicks was pretty weak....

Back in the day, I was sponsored by Yok - I've always had good experiences with their tires. Don't know what they have in your size, though.

The only Michelins I've ever used were on the mudpuppy (323GTX rally car).

I've had Pirellis twice, once on my RX7 and once on the ZX2 - they suck, and have a tendency to shed the shoulder rubber.

In general I'd take a Michelin tire... but I usually choose based on application and how much I'm willing to drop cash wise for rubber.
