Cathedral of Santa Croce - this is where Machiavelli is buried, and is also the home of the personal chapel of the Medici family.

A crapload of important Italians are buried in this tomb. The floor and the walls are covered with tombs.

In the town of Lucca, Puccini got loaded at this cafe pretty regularly. Assume a gnarly absinthe bender. . .

Lucca's Roman Coliseum was completely turned upside down into normal buildings some time in the 1600s or so. . . but they kept the oval. . .
