Me neither. The only thing I can think of, James, is that dogs and cats can make a lot of noise (howling, hissing)... That makes some sense I guess...

Oh, and I think the silly rabbit thing is from the Trix cereal advertisement, at least as far as I know... Does it pre-date that? Trix was around when I was a kid, which as we all know is nearly pre-history.
