Weather really sucked for a couple of days though. The freezing rain killed many a tree branch (and, apparently, many a power line too).

Well, I like snow when it's snow. This winter's starting off nasty out here. First they salt / sand the roads early due to early cold weather, making me put "Neb" away. Now the cold resumes and we get snow, rain, and sleet. Ugh!

(my snowblower still works)

I was just thinking that with my battery-powered laptop, I could still post in an outage. NOPE... My cable modem would be three sheets to the wind. My only hope would be landline to work. In that case, I would not be whoring.
