Why is Japanese automotive technology so
The Swift is supposed to be pretty cool too. There's supposedly a sportier version of it.
It should be quite a lot of fun to drive, considering how light that thing is.
There's also a heavy, slow ass puke green edition, unfortunately.

I'm a big Suzuki 4x4 fan. Aside from the rust on my sidekick (my own fault for leaving salt in the engine compartment in summers), it's been incredibly cheap to own/maintain. It drives like a bucking bronco, but that's part of the fun!
At the place that we have the mountain house there is a carpark at the bottom of the hill where everyone leaves their 4x4. We all drive up in our sports/saloon/coupe whatever and then jump into the 4x4 when we get there ...... there must be at least 20 Jimnys in that parking lot. All rusted to hell, but still running on their little 660cc engines and transporting many people up and down the mountain in whatever conditions ......
The great thing about them is that if you DO go off the track
they are light enough that someone will be able to pull them back onto it with a bigger vehicle ..... someone who went off the track last year in their Landcruiser had to wait 2 days to get a tractor up there to get theirs back up the slope !!!!

Work. Our next computer is being designed by NEC in Ibaraki. Someone has to actually make the thing work!

Strong likelihood I'll be out there for the bringup. A trip to Motegi and/or the Honda Takanezawa factory will be a certainty if I go. I realize Tokyo isn't exactly close, but we'll work something out.
I'll keep you posted, James.
