I play during the summer (take lots of Saturdays off) so you got to pay to play

 

I'm an accountant, and we work about 60 hours a week during tax season and Saturdays are mandatory, so that's why.

 

this is true... for me, since i'm the only mgr here on sat...i basically have to coax my colleagues so i can switch days with them to get sat's off..but yeah, usually, i try to take saturday's off during the summer as much as possible.

 

ah..tax season..gotcha... i've heard that during the "busy" season, accountants pretty much disappear from anything that involves social activity.

 

It'll be my first tax season, but I sure as hell am not going to give up my life for 3 whole months!

 

busy season for us is back to school....no one sees me...I usually will work about 80 hours End of August thru Sept

wow... that's crazy....i'm at 40 hours, and i'm trying to cut down from that

 

in our family business. Its an educational supply store for teachers and parents. It gets so nuts here with last minute teachers right before school.....think of Toys r us the night before Christmas

 

wow.. nice.. i used to work at a toy store part time for a friend of mine.. i hope you don't have to gift wrap... gift wrapping sucks.
