Because sports, particularly college football, are truly great. Proper pregame tailgating is wonderful. Allow four hours to drink it all in and participate. I find nothing more thrilling than a good college football game, with the pageantry, the spirit, the color, the enthusiasm, the intensity, and the family atmosphere. The last 1:47 of the USC Cal fame, when Cal was driving us from first and goal at the nine and we held them, I've never, ever heard a louder Coliseum crowd. It was deafening. People were turning around and exhorting people to scream louder. I've been going to all USC games for 40 years. After the game, everyone stayed in the Coliseum and kept cheering and hugging each other. This is sports. It does not suck!

sorry I'm not a sports fan. I do go to games on occaision - the drinking is the part I enjoy oh, and the crowd is entertaining. My friends and I try to spot cute guys.
