Great, Peter. My eldest had his first soccer game of the season. I love the way kids just all congregate around the ball.

The "goal" of this season is to start understanding zone play. We'll see

Sounds like great fun. It's great to see kids playing team sports.

I'm sure they probably understand zones but they prefer to be where the action is.

Absolutely.

Now, I'm watching the finals of the US Open (Tennis). Pete Sampras vs. Andre Agassi. It's great!!!

How're things down under, big P?

Things are great. Thanks for asking.

Weather over the weekend was miserable.
Went to a friends birthday party on Saturday night and had a great time, although lucky not to get into a brawl.

I coached 4-6 year olds but had to give it up... I used to laugh my silly ass off watching them.

Was that for Soccer John?

I played at that age and, according to my parents, most of the kids used to run away from the ball until it stopped moving, then attack it at once in a rather large collision.

It was rather like that Peter. There always tends to be one gifted player who just smokes the field though.
