Wibble!(MT)
Charlie, unfortunately there were no pictures
I can fill you in with some of the details though .......
Having spent about 4 hours drinking at the restaurant at the top of the slopes, we headed back into town, had a couple of beers at the bar at the bottom, 4 of 8 of us went back and changed, the other 4 carried on drinking !
The 4 that changed got to the restaurant first, and while we were being seated, noticed the other 4 turn up, in full ski-gear, 2 still wearing ski boots (
), (they had to check their skis into the cloak room!!).
After a few bottles of wine (and a little food) while chatting to the waiter he mentioned that he had been ejected from a bar the previous night after getting into a whipped cream fight. It turned out that they had been drinking "Muff Dives" they come in Martini glasses (like this
) you fill the glass with whipped cream and then put a shot glass of something or other (can't remember what) into the cream. You place this between your legs while seated, and the other person has to take the shot glass out with their teeth and drink the shot
.
Anyway, while doing this, one the people at our table head their head pushed down into the cream, which led to the inevitable cream fight.
This would have been bad enough on its own, but the table of 6 girls/ladies beside us, unwittingly became involved
. They actually saw the funny side of it and started returning the cream as quickly as they received it, unfortunately, this lead to the cream being thrown harder and the table of people past their table became involved. THEY didn't see the funny side
I have to say that the table of Canadian girls/ladies beside us were a great laugh and I really have to take my hat off to them .... as for the other table .... well
you !!!!
