Second gear to redline on freeway on-ramp is likely to get anyone's attention!

We drive down to Yokohama quite regularly and I always floor it away from the toll both up the on ramp onto the expressway ...... usually just gone from redline in second into third as we come off the ramp .... my wife's knuckles white as she grips the seat

Fairly long and fairly straight. There's a slight right hand kink at the end which is a little disconcerting and makes you want to lift. If you don't though there's room to take it over a hundred.

There's another on ramp near where a I live that you can break 100 before merging.
