Most of the snow has gone already ...... which means I was able to drive again today .... bottled it yesterday when I saw the snow on the road, decided I would come to work by train instead

Nice to have that option, James. Not that I mind driving my summer car during the warm months, but 45 minutes each way... It'd be nice to have train as an option!

I actually prefer to drive (and it is quicker to drive) but the cost of parking near the office means that I don't drive that often..... only when I need to do something after work and need the car for it .....

There is no parking (well very little) at the office, so I have to park in a car park close by ...... which is not cheap !!!!!

I work out in suburbia, James, so there's a huge lot surrounding our building. Guess there are some compensations for living in "the country!"

It would be great to live in the country from that point of view I am sure

Working in a city (London, then Hong Kong, now Tokyo) for the last 13 years is getting rather old now. ..... I would love to be able to move out of the city

It's funny... My wife and I have dreams of retiring into the city someday (well, in addition to some other ideas). We've missed one opportunity to live in San Francisco, and we both love Boston, where we stay from time to time.

Always greener on the other side of the fence, eh James!?

I reckon so .......

My wife has got it into her mind that she wants to move to somewhere like Vancouver ....... I really don't know where she got the idea from, we have only ever driven through vancouver once going from the airport to Whistler, but she now wants to live there !!!!!
