I got chopped up yesterday morning with a laser, no more tonsils and my septum should be a little straighter. Apparently I bled from my tonsils more than they had expected, the doctor said I made him earn his money . Then they couldn't get me to stay awake coming out of the anesthetic so they kept me in the hospital until this afternoon. And because they couldn't keep me awake, I couldn't be given any vicadon, so until a couple hours ago I've been painkiller free Don't ever get surgery inside your nose with painkillers, thats all I can say. Sheesh....... what a crazy day...... and I didn't get any pics because I was zonked, but trust me, it wasn't pretty. Oh did I mention I had about 45 needles in me? ugh.......

Glad you're well, wicky! You didn't need painkillers...you probably still had booze from Vegas in your system to keep you numb...

yee-ouch... vicodins are overrated anyway. they just go me high but never dulled the pain... then again...

I agree vicodins are overrated. I know some people who act like rabid dogs anytime I get a vicodin, but I don't think they do that much. But after having no painkillers for the first 24 hours I can assure they do work (thank god)

 

I think you just need to get a hotel trash can...some ice...and a big bottle of rum. Before long you won't feel a thing...
