Do you do what I do with my home server?... I let me router connect via DHCP and grab a new IP every time... but I just leave it set up. That way if I have a block I can reboot my Router and I'm back in business.

Hey Jack... I've been thinking for some time about DynIP... how is the no-ip Linux client?

 

I can't really comment on that. My IP address haven't changed since I installed the client two months ago.

Other than that, it's easy enough to install and use (I install it as a daemon). It also uses minimal system resources (which is important on my Pentium 166MHz + 32MB RAM laptop.

 

... but easy to install and setup? Free?
