Okay Im gonna give a lil review for you kids...........................................
AWESOME!!!!!
Mr.Johnson was tooooo cute as ever and the voice was mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
The Gorge Ampitheater is SOOOOOOOOOO COOOOOOL!!!! Its hard to describe it for you but Im gonna try The Gorge is an area of WA where the Columbia River runs through and its HUGE! It is in the Desert! Yeah I said Desert Most people don't realize that WA HAS a desert but it does in the South Eastern part of the State! So this area of the Gorge is very Canyon Like meaning big cliffs and you see the river down below! Its AWESOME! So some SMART person got the idea to build this HUGE AMPITHEATER there which was a Very Good Idea! The Stage is HUMONGOUS and sits at the edge overlooking the River.
Then they just KNOTCHED out a bunch a rows terreced in the side of the hill. So its pretty much festival type seating. They do have an area at the bottom which is cement and of course is right at the stage.
You could be way up in the last knotched out lawn row and STILL see good though!
The rows are lawn with a lil cement mold behind you so you can (if you choose to) lay back against it!
The place holds 20 thousand people and it was SOLD OUT!!!!
We got in the first row of the lawn rows which was a pretty good spot! Well Im holdin our spot as C-5 had to go back to the car to take the Digi Cam back But the good news is Mom snuck the F-100 in I had it taken apart in my purse and when the security gal asked if I had a camera I said...well we have a digi one and looked back at C-5. So this kinda distracted her from tearin my purse apart She told him he couldn't bring it in so I was like oh well I'll wait for ya inside PURDY SNEAKY HUH!
Okay I know this is gettin boring but hey Im gonna give ya all this info to set the scene........ So Mom steaks out the prime seat and there are allready tons a people in there. After sitting for like 2 hrs wating the shows about to start. Well Jack is up first after some DJ guy. Im waitin for C-5 to get back n find me from takin the camera back.
All of a sudden these 3 Monkeys come and plop themselves down like RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!!!!! and One is like 6 ft tall and weighs like 300 lbs Im not kiddding. So I was like ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh NO!
First of all that wasnt a seat or laying area they got behind the people in the row below. Well Mom just taps on the big guys shoulder and says Sorry but you guys CANNOT sit there! Ive been waiting here since 4:00 and Im NOT ABOUT TO LET YOU block my view If you could just of seen how HUGE this DUDE was youd be CRACKIN UP ( Mom 5 ft 1 ) telling this could be FOOTBALL PLAYER to move it!
Well they did cause NOONE MESSES W MOM!
Oh the view while your sittin on these lawn rows is just GORGEOUS the river down below and the canyon!
The Sunset is INCREDIBLE and I did shoot some pics of it! I will post some later today the ones of Jack are not real close up even with the zoom but hopefully you will see how cool it was there!

JACK ROCKED and Mr. Harper did too!!! Saw way too many WASTED KIDS when I went down to the stage tooooo funny I think everyone there was havin a GOOD TIME
Okay here are some of my 35 mils that I took at the concert with the zoom lens. You cant see Jack all that well but you can get a feel for what the place is like! The stage is just UNBELIEVABLE its HUGE and the sunset behind it at night was INCREDIBLE he even stopped playin for a minute and turned around to look at it and was very impressed with our little area we call the Gorge!
I would have taken the camera down to the stage when I fougt my way down there but I didn't wanna have it taken away from me
