I would be surprised if you can get the horse sashimi anywhere apart from Japan ...... I am sure that you could get Kobe beef over there in certain restaurants, but since it will cost you something like US$50-60 for Kobe beef in a restaurant here, I would hate to think what they would charge for it over there .....

anyway, I DID eat Kobe beef when I was in LA last November.. It was the size of a pack of cigarettes, and I remember hearing that it cost an arm and a leg (their treat).

The only time I have eaten it was when I was out for dinner on someones work expenses ...... that is probably one of the most expensive meals I have EVER eaten ..... the wines were in the US$ 80-120 a bottle range and we were not holding back on drinking them either !! I think that the bill came in at over US$300 per head !!!

I had a managers training seminar today.. It consisted of catching water balloons and not breaking them. Watching some of the other people (in their white shirts) attempt to catch them was quite amusing.
What was not amusing was the response that a colleague and I won the contest twice..
The result: being bombarded by about 30 water balloons all at once.
Which, of course means I went home, got changed, relaxed, and came back to work.

.......
and now my friend wants to go out tonight and shoot pool.

Mon.
Tue..
Wed...

and I wonder why I can never save money

The art of money saving has eluded me most of my life as well ... however the art of drinking is one that I feel I am close to mastering ...
