Work on Saturdays is pure hell!!!!
I joined the evo forum a year and a half ago. I wanted to replace my Corolla with an Evo. The money thing didn't work out, so I mostly just post in OT (sorta like here) over there. I'd still like to get one; I just can't afford it.
Yes, the Advan A046 is the stock tire. Similar to the S02 - incredible dry grip, mediocre wet, non-existent snow. A friend of Mitch's picked up an Evo this week and was still on the Advan's last night. He said it was brutal trying to get around, even with AWD.

Mitch had an Evo before, didn't he? Did he end up selling it? (I'm assuming he did).
How come you never considered the Sti. I asked my friend why he chose Evo, and all I got was.. Sti sucks.. End of Discussion... dunno what that means.

Yeah, he traded it for his 2nd NSX. He had his reasons (I think his sig elaborates on them
).
I don't like the looks of the STI. Simple as that. I think the Evo is a slightly better car as well, but the STI has some things that are better. I'm not a big fan of opposed 4 cylinders, either.

my only gripe with either car is that the interior looks so funny to me..
i guess i've only driven honda's for the past 10 years or so, so maybe i'l just used to seeing that layout.
i'll have to check his sig sometime..i haven't seen him online in ages.

He pokes in and reads a few threads mostly... hasn't posted much.
I agree with you though, neither the Evo nor the STi has Honda-caliber ergonomics. Mitsu didn't even include cruise control, which wouldn't be bad except the throttle response is soooooooooo good. One minute you're going 65, next you're going 45, then 100. With the Evo, it's really hard to distinguish whether you're going 60 or 80 by feel.

Did I miss anything
