i know that sounds like an oxy moron.. but you know how sometimes people say something about your car that they intend to be nice..but it's really like "damn dude i wish you didn't just say that" ... well today...

i was picking up groceries to make lunch today and walking back to my car, when this older gentleman comes up to me and says.. "hey that's a nice honda there.. looks just like of them BMW's"

*sigh* of course i politely say thank you, smile, and then drive off..

I've gotten that line before. I usually reply "Yeah, sort of like those BMWs, only faster."

 

OK, I was at an S2Ki event (to remain nameless) and speaking to one of the people that shows his S quite often. He had seen my car at a different get together and asked if I had plans to show it.

I said "nahhh, my car isn't showable" (which is my opinion. I don't wanna show anything except the tail lights -- it was meant to drive)

his response to "my car isn't showable"

"Yeah, you're right"

Mind you I have seen much more BTFU S2K's at shows. Anyway . . . don't quite know what he meant by that.
