Sir, I'd like to take Thur/Fri/Mon off. I only have a bit of Vac time, so I'll be using sick time on Monday.

If he says no go... just let him know that you'll be so heart-broken you miss the Dragon, that you'll be crying and drinking yourself to sleep every day until DBR in the fall.

Tell him this could highly affect your work... and you know that he, as not only a dedicated boss, but a caring person want this on his shoulders.
