I still love my ap1... the only things I was envious about on the ap2s are:

1) "terminator"-like headlights
2) clock in the gauge cluster
3) radio door/cover

The radio door is an easy swap, but I don't like it. (I think I am the only one though, fair enough.) To me the whole idea of the radio door is to HIDE the radio. That's but then to make it all silver and make it stand out just seems odd to me.

Stock for stock, I prefer the AP2 headlights, but with clear or smoked lenses, the AP1 headlights are better.

The guage cluster in total I do like better in the AP2, if it were an easy swap, I'd do it.

I like the bigger cupholder of the AP2 Center console, but prefer the smaller part around the shifter on the AP1.

I like the two-tone seats on the AP2, but I'm happy with my all red.

I prefer the 02-03 tail lights over AP2 (which I prefer of the 00-01 without the chrome rings.)

AP2 tranny is supposed to be a little more durable, if I ever have a problem with my transmission, i'd go AP2.

AP2 diff is stronger, I have an AP2 diff.

9,000RPM trumps ALL.

i'll give you the 9000rpm part...

but other than that, i'll just chalk the rest up to you having bad taste...

but that's ok, everyone is entitled an opinion...
