No, that's the blind right hander before the last left hander onto the front straight. I went a little too deep and completely missed the apex.

Fixed. Maybe that's your problem w/Grattan? It's critical to give up some speed there to get a good run onto the front straight.

No, I actually do OK with Grattan, I was trying to push a little there and missed my brake point.

That's what I love about Grattan - you can't rush a corner; it's all rythm

Grattan is a LOT of fun. I find it to be almost two tracks at once.

The front 1/2 of the track (from Turn 10 to Turn 2) is fast as hell and almost flat out the whole way, then the back 1/2 of the track (Turn 3 to Turn 9) is more technical. In the Z06 I found I could never use full throttle. Which was actually really cool.

On the bikes, it's WOT from the bowl down to the hairpin. To me, it's better than Mid-O; I love the way the corners come at you after the jump

Martin--do they run vintage bikes like they do for vintage racecars?

I used to love the Kenny Roberts bike.

I have never driven Mid-O.

I have a special place in my heart for Road America, but it's pretty scary at speed. Lots of walls and trees VERY close to the track.

I've only been to Grattan once. I hope to go again this Summer. Pretty nice track.
