Minus all the tourist that take up the beach and pee in the water

 

Most of the beaches up here are kind of cold... especially Santa Cruz.

Maybe there will be some swimming time in SoCal this weekend. I'll pack my swimsuit just in case!

 

I don't really like the beaches around here too much. Our beaches are over-flowing with tourist - just gets real frustrating. Plus mi madre has a pool - so I just go over there if I feel like going for a dip.


Heh. I take it you really like to swim?

 

I am not very good at swimming but I do enjoy it on nice hot days... with nice cool water... ah~

and I prefer pools over seawater!

I was a life-guard for a summer - given the award for fastest swimmer It's been almost 6 years though, can't swim nearly as fast as I used to.

But you live near the beach!!!


I prefer a pool, specifically because of the diving board and fact that it's almost guaranteed the water is clean. Yet I love the waves at the beach. Used to love surfing... after my leash got wrapped around a rock under water I decided to throw in the towel.

Why do I picture you as one of those girls who plug their nose when they jump in the pool?
