It's strange, Ken. I *think* I pulled it playing catch with my son last Saturday. Then it was feeling better mid week. Then WHAM it's been killing me for two days!

It just SUCKS getting old.

My dad had a similar experience at age 40. He thought he pulled something or he also remembered bumping it at work and thought that might my why. He had a major heart attack a few days later.

It is a warning sign. It's worth checking into and keeping an eye on.

I appreciate that, Ken.

That's always a risk for me. It runs somewhat in my family. As it stands, I take BP and cholesterol meds. If I'm lucky, I'll avoid having an "incident" until the day I finally check out.

His first heart attack was at age 40. Doctors said he would never leave the hospital. But he did and started taking a shit load of various vitamins after reading an article written by a heart doctor fighting his own heart failure. Finally at age 58, I personally had to give him CPR after his second heart attack. At age 59 he received a heart transplant on Valentines Day. He'll be 68 next month! Miracles of modern medicine!
