My recent experience as a CO in the So Cal Forum is that badges are a lot of work. Whoever takes this on has to be committed to stay with it.

If you guys want a new badge I can set it up..but only if everybody wants it... I am not talking about being CO but setting up the vote, style, stuff like that...

I just don't want to start a war cause some people love the old badge...

Why not just stay with the old badge and appoint a new CO/Mod to hand them out. Handing them out is what I was talking about. I have to go to Excel and pull down a list, add to it, and repaste it to the list of forum members every time I give out a new badge.

First order of business is a new CO. Any nominees? Feel free to post up in this thread or start a new one. We can deal with the badges later, I would assume...

I will help, maintain, organize, whatever....
as for the badge..if rufio designs a badge that everyone can agree with, i can maintain that.. (and i'm sure if i slip up, you guys will be quick to put me back in my place).
george, i've talked to a few people about badges for local communities, and i have heard that at times it can get quite tedious.
well..that's more than 3 lines..
