because i manage/distibute the badges does not necessarily mean that i am required to be a badge holder. i think i've made it clear to people in the past that as much as i'd like a badge down the road, right now, i can think of at least two people who are much more badgeworthy than I. (and probably the first order of business if i am elected CO).
