He wanted me to find something wrong with it so he could keep the State of California from designating it a historic preservation site, which meant he had to leave it a Big Boy, rather than change it to something else, which he wanted to do. I didn't find anything wrong. He got in a big fight with the State and lost. However, extensive LA Times coverage of the fight brought in lots of business.

BTW, that's 185 miles from La Crescenta and 92 miles from Las Vegas. I had lunch at Bob's Bog Boy. I sat at the counter, had a Big Boy with extra secret sauce, and listened to 50's rock music.
