I'm driving to work this morning when I see about a 1/4 mile ahead two cars on the side of the road and an object lying in the street. When I get closer I see the object is a baby moose which was dead and had a pool of blood under it's head. I look at the two cars and recognize one as an employee who works at the same company I do. His car before this was all smashed up and I didn't notice much new damage which seemed strange since the moose was dead. So I got the rest of the story this afternoon. Evidently he came walking into the office that morning with blood all over his hands and his boss asked him what happened. He is from Russia and speaks broken English so he replied "I hit moose it not dead so I pull out leatherman and cut vein in throat. Thank God for leatherman" he says! Only in Vermont.

 

well, at least he finished the job......

 

Did he keep the moose? I've heard Moose meat is pretty good...

 

Geez, I hope he never hit a human-being
