You Know You're Addicted To The Computer When....
You know your addicted to the computer when...
1. Tech Support calls "You" for help
2. Someone at work tells you a joke and you say LOL
3 When someone says "What did you say?" you reply "Scroll up!"
4. You have a second phone line just so you can call Domino`s
5. You have to be pried from your computer with the Jaws-of-Life
6. You have a vanity car tag with your screen name on it
7. You no longer type with proper punctuation, capitalization, or complete sentences
8. You begin to say "he he he" instead of laughing
9. You know more about your online friends daily routines
than your own family`s
10.You lie to others about your time online and when they complain,
you keep begging your friends to get and account so "we can hang out"
11. You meet people from the Internet in public and have no idea what
their real name is, so you call them by their screen name
12. When your phone line is busy, you claim it was off the hook*
13. You have an identity crisis if someone else is using a s/n close
to your own
14. You would rather tell people your bloodshot eyes are from partying
too much instead of the truth (all night online)
15. You marry your cyber boyfriend and you both sit at your own computers and chat to each other every night from across the room
16. You type messages to people while you are on the phone with them at the same time
17. You wont work at a job that doesn`t have a modem involved
18. You sign on and immediately get 10 messages from people who have you on their buddy lists
19. You look at an annoying person off-line and wish you had your ignore button handy
20. You have withdrawals if you are away from the puter for more than a few hours
21. You use the Internet lingo in everyday life (if you still have a life hehe)
22. Your buddy list has over 100 people on it
23. You wake up in the morning and the first thing you do is get online before you have your first cup of coffee
24. You wait 6 hours online for a certain "special" person to sign on
25. You dont know where the time has gone
26. You end sentences with three or more) periods when writing letters in pen
27. Your relationship online has gone farther than any real one you have had
28. Your get up at 2am to go to the bathroom but go turn on your computer instead (or in my case, home from a niteclub at 6am)
29. You dont even notice anymore when someone has a typo
30. When you enter a room and 23 people greet you witn {{{Hugs}}} or ***Kisses***
31. You stop typing whole words and use things like ppl, dunno and lemme
32.Your voicemail/answering machine message is "BRB, leave your s/n and i will TTYL"
33. You type faster than you think
34. Being called a newbie is a MAJOR insult
35. You are on the phone for a min, and need to do something else you say "BRB" or "BBL"
36.You spend at least 30 minutes making sure you say good-bye to everyone in the chat room
