If you want to join up here, post a line or two on charlie's "Chime In" thread that's stuck to the top of the forum

You sound like you live in Havertown/Haverford? My girlfriend is off of Manoa road....

Hey 9K, I live in Broomall, a few streets behind ThunderBird Steak place. I used to live in Havertown, on Farnham Road, right up the street from Chatham Park elementary school. I'm going to post a pic and join up at Charlie's Chime in thread. You can see my Baby there

Cheers,

M&M

I have a 30 day trial to check these suckers out... They're actually low profile cables... Not sure that I'd even use them due to the overall low ground clearance with snow and ice chunks... autotrader.com is all plugged all over my cookies... perhaps a nice 1990 honda will do. I've been scrambling this week getting rides and borrowing cars. I love my S... it's just no good for the snow.

Gee, I'm not sure how I've driven mine almost every day...49,000 mi....now over 4 years running and in the midst of my 5th winter season

Success = 4 Blizzaks + 50-100# weight in the trunk + moderation in driving

On Friday night in Fairmount Park...on the way home...I drove up a reasonable hill and passed (slowly/ carefully) a new M-B S-500 sliding all over the place. About $90K, multiple different traction control systems and an idiot behind the wheel...who never learned to feather the gas

a very good friend of mine bought his wife an s2000 last year. she has 2 sets of rims (S03's for the summer, and blizzaks for the winter)...it's her daily driver in a section of cleveland where lake-effect snow is constantly a problem. it's not unusual for her to see 6" of snow when the forecast predicts "flurries"....
personally, i wouldn't even think to drive in that weather, but she manages driving everyday with no problem.
