Default 3 Months Later...

Finally, after 3 months of waiting and $931 in freight charges, the kit arrived this morning! The snow actually helped; we just slid the box down the driveway and into the garage. According to King, my wing should be here next week, but there's not firm ETA on the hood yet.

Looking at the finish quality on the parts that came in today, all I can say is "wow"... very nice stuff. The bumper's almost identical in overall shape to the OEM one except for the two protrusions at the bottom (looks a lot like the Airwalker front). The instructions seem very thorough and fortunately have tons of pics (cause I don't read kanji). The fog light kit seems top quality as well. If all goes well, I'll manage to have it done by next weekend.

I'm not a fan of the three little indentations on the side skirts; we'll probably have those filled. In general, though, the fit is damn near perfect.

Yah, that's the one my fiance (soon to be wife, T-Minus 45 days and counting) and I built this past summer. Huge list of crap done to it; she's anxiously awaiting the JRSC release for it. The car's the reason we got the berlina black S2000 and are doing it in matching colors (black, red accents). Mostly so that when we head out to shows and such, the cars match (his and hers...). That's also why the "H" badge in the pic looks a little bigger than usual - it's the JDM Integra Type-R badge; same set we have on her car. When they're both clean and outside, they look great together.

The cool thing about the badges is that they're so much higher quality than the OEM honda S2000 red ones (I started with a set of those and switched because they looked like cheap knock-offs next to the ones on the RSX). Just grab a pair of the ones used on the back of the DC5 - a little pricier than the OEM ones, but soooo much cleaner.

Here's a closeup shot of the one on the RSX:

That really is a nice RSX. I originally did not like the RSX, but I like YOUR car. WOW!

Here's a small version of the poster we made for shows (to try to show that stuff was actually done to it - most people think the stuff's all factory)...

Here's some from a show this fall, the guy taking the pics focused mostly on the sound system in the trunk:

She even dresses to match the car @ events - black leather pants, red sweater, red tank top:
