Am I losing my mind?
I posted up this thread in the under the hood section:

I have already had the car at Scott Honda, up on the lift and literally ALL of the techs were trying to figure it out. They came to the conclusion that it must be the clutch, and based on the sound/feel it could be detrimental to my trans over time.
This sound/feel has been acquired, it was NOT there when I first got the car back from the clutch install. Do you guys think it could be a bad break-in?
As well as this, last week the check engine light came on. Had my friend who's a tech as Scott Honda come over and read the codes, said they were misfires. He reset it, drove it around, light didnt come back on. Just yesterday the check engine light came on, AGAIN.
Can someone PLEASE drive my car on Saturday at the Drafting Room Meet? I just want another s2000 owners input on how it drives, preferably someone that has a non oem clutch setup.
Thanks!

Thinking about this, it's possible that your "shakes" issue could be a complete coincidence with the clutch install. You could have the rear CV joint shakes. Mine developed around 60,000 miles. They kinda came out of nowhere. Like I said, if you want, I can drive your car to see what I think.
But remember, I'm no master mechanic, so don't expect too much out of me. (I've learned when dealing with women, it's always good to set expectations low
)

haha! yea, then you have little room for disappointment, right!?
Ed and Joey, (friend at Scott Honda) seem to think it's real bad, so I just want another s2000 owner/drivers opinion on how the car drives/feels.
thanks a lot.

Well I know my CV joints got so bad, when i got on it, it felt like my car was driving on Square wheels. When coasting or just normal driving, there was little to no vibration. So that could be the problem.
I've personally never heard of a clutch/flywheel issue that caused the entire car to shake under acceleration. But like I said above, I'm no mechanic so...
After I take it out for a spin, and if the vibration doesn't feel like anything I've experienced before, I'd suggest possibly shooting Billman a PM. Explain the situation and see if he can shed some light on the issue.

So if I read your description, it only shakes under WOT, and has nothing to do with speed (neutral = no shake). Have you noticed shaking under WOT in the lower rpms versus the higher rpms?
Almost sounds like the car shakes under some type of torque load... I would agree about the driveshafts or cv joints being the problem. If it's a clutch, I think you would have clutch engagement issues. Though not to discount the clutch, I'd imagine that a warped clutch or pressure plate could cause that same type of vibration. Though thinking about that out loud, it could not be as likely. Only way to know is to take it apart I guess.
