Default Any good mechanics in Delaware?

Hi. I just bought an S2000 . I prefer to service all my cars to mechanics who know what they are doing (a rarity, unfortunately) so I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for the Wilmington, DE area.

Sorry for posting here, but I want people who know what it takes (to be a good wrench) to answer this post.

Thanks in advance.

Yiannis

I think they all moved away...

Actually, I think you would get more response in the S2000 Talk forum.

Congrats on the purchase! What year and color is it?

On second thought, I think most S2000 owners find out the hard way that there are not any great options for servicing this car, unless it is to do it yourself. This is a rare breed that even Honda dealerships don't have much experience with. There are so many upsetting stories about dealer mistakes and abuse.

I haven't even taken mine in for its recalls.

you should post this in the regional forums not in UTH. I will move this to Del Valley Forum.

I take mine to Martin Honda in Newark. They've done all of my work from oil changes to the spark plug recall to 3-4k buzzing of the clutch plate. There are a few guiys there that really know the S2000. You might want to try there.

I take mine to Price Honda in Dover... I deal with Joe Cessna (service writer and S2000 owner) and usually try to get either Mike King or Mike Davis to work on the car. They're the ones that sold/installed all the performance mods on my car; I'd not hesitate to recommend them.

Thanks guys.
Paulie: I have some bad blood with the Newark dealer. Also their sales staff is typical used car salesmen quality, so that doesn't make me too comfortable.
Ryan: thanks, I'll check this out.

Anyone has an opinion for the Wilmington honda dealer? That's the closest to my area.
