Default anyone baking lights?

I have an AP2 and I want to get rid of the orange in my headlights. I don't want to/know how to/trust myself to take apart the bumper and headlights to get the pieces out. Thanks in advance

I'll be doing mine in a week or two (or 3). I'm going to do the Mulder mod on the AP1 lense. I also have a heat gun if I can't get the oven to work. I can let you know how it works out.

The oven isn't hard to do, but trust me when I say, bake it longer and hotter then you think. Don't er on the safe side as it will only lead to more raw/burnt fingers.

Has anyone done the naked ap2 lights yet? I haven't seen a pic of them.

I cleared my headlights last year and was very hesitant but it wasn't hard

Take them out. It takes less than 5 minutes to remove them.

I cleared my headlights last year and went at it blindly. Took 4.5 hours from taking off the bumper to putting it back on. I just said F-it and do it.

Buy black silicon sealant. Get a flathead you don't mind ruining (it'll be covered with silicon. Heat it up and scrape the factory sealant away. Alternate headlamps in the oven as you scrape. Eventually you'll get both sides apart. Then heat up the remaining glue, add the new silicon sealant (Huge globs of it) and press together.

I left mine in. First headlight spent probably half an hour to 40 min in the oven. 2nd one I turned up the heat so it took less. Figure an hour of tugging for each to get them apart.
