Hi,

I am a former S owner looking to become one again. I am located in Mass and saw this S for sale at a dealer outside Philly. Any chance anyone is familiar with this car or its former owner by any chance? Making a 4 hour drive down to look it over only to be disappointed would suck. I figure it cant hurt to ask.

that car is a respray, I do not not see the Vin tag on the rear fender when you open up the trunk, might have been rear ended because I see the side vin stickers and the front hood sticker. Call them and ask to get pics of all of the vin stickers.

 

Thanks for the input on the vin tags. I will see what more I can learn. The Carfax states no damage reported but I know that doesn't mean there wasn't any. It also says 1 owner so I was hoping it might be a local enthusiast.

If you look at the image of the drivers side rear wheel, there is damage to the bottom rail/side skirt below the door.

 

Better eyes than mine! I do see what you are pointing out now.

I cant expect perfection for the year/mileage and price, but I do want to avoid anything of significance.

 

on the plus side, if you are into football it comes with 1 touch down already

 

I'am 10 minutes away from that dealer if you need someone to pass by and walk around it.
