I went to the bike race Sunday. I was parked in my friend's driveway. Someone cut the top and took the Stock Stereo and the back speakers I had installed. Any recommendations for a head unit/ place to get it installed? Does anyone recommend a Honda Dealer in the Philly area to get a new top installed?

That is why I dont go to that bike race. Over 1/2 million people attend and that includes a fair proportion of low life. Sorry to hear about that and hope you get things taken care of. I am from Delaware and dont know the Philly area very well. I hope you were able to obtain a police report for insurance purposes. If not, I would contact them ASAP. Good Luck.

 

Urgh that sucks! I got a new top (due to wear holes, under warranty) installed by Keehan Honda in Doylestown last fall. They didnt do the work..they farmed it out to a local upholstery shop, which was fine with me. They did an excellent job.

I would order the top from hardttopguy.com and go to a trusted upholsterer...they are professionals who deal with tops all day long...not Honda dealers who may know how to turn a wrench but honestly how many tops do they replace? Hardtopguy will save you lots of $$$ if the insurance company will just cut you a check.

 

I'm in the process of having a new top installed...it seems that all the dealers farm out their soft top installations...I hope for you your going through your ins company...2 different places and they are charging me $650...the same price that they charge the dealers... Rayco off of Rt 3 in Springfield (west of philly) and they guys that Piazza recommended in Langhorne (north of northeast) sorry I can't remember their name... probably going w/ Rayco...total install time is 10hrs. They'll have your car for 2 days. They want at least 1 day notice...I think to prepare themselves...I hear it is a real pain in the a$$ install...

I spoke to the guys at Philadelphia Honda. They said they do 1-2 per month. They said they stpped sending them out because they have to warranty them. He said it is a pain in the a$$, you have to take out most of the trunk and interior.
