Body work..Any experiences with Conicelli?
Hi guys,
Unfortunately I need my rear bumper replaced. Over the weekend someone hit my car while it was parked
I'm bringing it to Conicelli tommorrow for an estimate.
Anyone have any experiences with the body shop there? This seems to be a straightforward job, prep, paint and install and new rear bumper.
Conicelli would be ideal since I work about 1 mile away from them...
Anyone have any other recommendations for body work, in the Philadelphia area?
Thanks in advance,
-c

Conicelli Honda repainted my front bumper for me, and they did a fantastic job. My car is NFR, so it's like a 3 or 4 stage paint process, but it came out perfect in finish and matching all other panels with no blending needed on adjacent panels. (Of course it probably should be noted that the only reason they repainted my front bumper was that one of their porters bumped into a wall while parking my car after they serviced it.)

My sister's BF just got his 350 back from getting a scratch fixed. The car was scratched new when he bought it, so they said they'd paint the area and make it new. They did the following:
1. repaired the scratch
2. scratched the hell out of the edge of the passenger door and couldn't fix it
3. dimpled the rear hatch in three places when taking off the 350z emblem
4. put his rear windshield washer on wrong
5. dropped TWO drops of paint on his hood
Thankfully, the wiper and the paint on the hood are fine. I had my local bodyshop buff the paint off and you can't even tell. Other than the fact Conicelli matched the paint correctly, it wasn't a pleasant experience for him to say the least. It was like every time he took it there, it came back worse. This was all less than one month ago.

aklucsarits,
did you post in the Phila SCCA forums about the license plate? i thought your screenname looked familiar...
hopefully the first batch of 100 plates will go soon, i'm waiting for something other than what's left.

I just got an estimate to fix a few scratches, nothing huge. They quoted me $1400, I took it to my guy in Wilmington (union park honda) and they charged me $800. Union park does ALL of my work. Fred is the MGR, and they are 100% on point.
