Default bumper gap fix

Anyone here fix their own rear bumper gap? I know from doing a search that the rear bumper tends to sag where it doesn't meet the rear quarter panel. Most people had the issue only on the rear passenger side. I have it on both sides. The car did not have a rear collision. While doing a search, I know that some s2000s have it while others don't. Some have reported that they have seen new s2000s (when still in the dealer lot - pre-2010) with the sag.

I've read that the fix is to remove the tail light and use a rivet that holds up the bumper. I don't have the tool nor skills to do this. For anyone that has fixed it themselves, I am willing to pay $40 to have it fixed.

There's an old thread that explains how to fix this and had pictures. However, the thread is so old that the pictures are no longer available. Here's the link to the thread

I don't think anyone in our area has had this issue.
