I ususally go to 2-3 of the Carlisle shows each year, b/c I love classic 50/60 cars as well as the S2000. Yeah, going Thursday or Friday is a good idea...although lots of other ppl. have the same thought! It also works to go really early in the day. That's a little easier for me since I have a summer cottage about 15-20 miles south of Carlisle.
I may go on Friday for Spring Carlisle. Let's keep this thread alive and see if other ppl are interested. If a number of ppl are interested, we could meet at a classic drive-in restaurant (there are a few in the area) before or after one of the show days. There are also lots of nice roads for a drive (Fall Colors '01 drive got ALMOST to Carlisle).
The May 17 weekend for Imports as also a possibility. Thanks for posting about the Carlisle thing....I've thought about it, but didn't know how many here would be interested, since it's more about parts swaps, restoration and vintage cars. Maybe this will bring some of our Central PA bro out of the woodwork
When I owned my 70 vette I always would go to the Corvettes at Carlisle event. They put together great shows. As long asa there is no rain (muddy) it is always a fun day at Carlisle.
Hey, you have to check out the Miss Import War candidates. It would be worth going just to see them. The beautiful blond says a red S2000 is one of her favorite things. Gregg Ginsberg, are you listening?
Well, I haven't been to any Hot Import nights yet. From what I hear, you have to be very wet behind the ears to enjoy these, and only have earned your driver's license a few weeks ago. But maybe if you go with me, so the mature, not-still-stuck-in-adolescence point of view can be better represented...
