Didn't work with mine.....

Maybe it depends on the network? The phone with the key fob was a Sprint PCS and on my end (car) was a Cingular. I wonder if it needs an analog network or what.

My wife has done the remote open with the cell phone with her Suburban and a friend's phone from a different network.

Doesn't matter what network. Remember our remotes just work on radio signals, so it's just audio that we can't hear. Only issue is the distortion and how weak the signal is after going through the phone. Turn up the volume on both, and put the receiving phone as close as possible.

yea that kinda scares me...think about it..we wonder why cancer has increased over 15 fold from pre 1850 levels...no its not because they couldn't diagnose it...this is what really scares me...when my cell phone is next to a speaker and it goes off and the speaker starts blasting this nasty sound...my brain hurts just thinking about what unseen damage is being done.
