Why do you still think the alignment is off? What specs are you giving him? Also, make sure to tell the mechanic that the car has camber and caster adjustments. Many cars do not have these so they may not even look for them.

he told me he looked on the computer once i told him it should have all the adjustments, so im assuming it told him all the places he could adjust it.

he brought me out into the shop to show me the readout, he got the camber closer, but not all the way, and also the toe was still messed up, but he said he compensated for it in the wheel. it sounded like a big load of BS to me.

Do you know if he was aware of all the adjustment points, and if he went back and forth among them? From what I've read, the S2000 is a bit more involved when it comes to aligning one, as in each adjustment affects the others to a lesser degree, so you might need to make the rounds on caster, camber and toe more than once.

ok i finally got the readout scanned, is there anything on here that would indicate my car was damaged somehow previously? also ive attached pictures of my wheel gap so you guys can tell me if there was a good reason he couldnt get the everything trued up? i dont think im nearly as low as most people that have had their cars aligned successfully and this is really pissing me off i can't find anyone to do a good job.

Caster, then camber, then toe. Always. There shouldn't be a need to go back and adjust once it's set. Most cars don't have caster adjustment, so mechanics may overlook it. Same with camber adjustments.

If actual = after, then your numbers look fine except for the right rear toe. Did he mention if the toe adjuster back there was seized?

he didnt mention any trouble with adjusting the car, except when he initially told me there was nothing to adjust because he never bothered to look. after he looked into the computer, he seemed to be fine. all he kept saying was it might have been hit slightly in the rear.

would you accept these settings if it were your car? and do you think the handling should be ok? im assuming its at least better than it was.

Yeah, definitely the right rear toe is really out there. I'd have him dial a bit of toe in on the left rear as well, each rear wheel should have about 1/8" toe in.

well thats the thing, he told me he couldnt get any closer because it would throw something else off... it just really sounded like he didnt want to be bothered, especially since he initially didnt even look at the car and told me i needed a camber kit.
