I'll disagree and here's why. If this hardtop is stolen, it was stolen with the car. There's no way he'd have all the harnesses. Then again, maybe Eddie doesn't even have a hardtop. Mayybe he just wants to mug ya?

Let's all text him anyway.

He doesn't have all the harnesses. He sent me some pics.

After that he said he had everything but the rear catchers. Because he left them on the car. Asked if that meant he also had the brushes and front strikers and he stopped replying.

A search of that phone number says that Eddie has a profile here.

1 of 3 posts and he's looking for side catchers .....

https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/102...side-catchers/

The other 2 posts are him looking for a hardtop.

The harnesses wouldn't stop me from purchasing a hardtop. I never hooked mine up and the car is so small using the defrost takes care of the hardtop glass in seconds anyway. W/o the rear catchers, you have room to negotiate.

agreed. harness is a useless job. factory front heat and defrost take care of the back in no time.

So minus the harness, brushes, strikers and catchers what would you all say a fair price would be? He's looking for $3k. In the marketplace forum there's a complete hardtop listed for $3k.

I think OEM catchers used will cost you ~$350 and ~$500 new. Knowing you, you'll want OEM and not aftermarket stuff.

Pretty sure the newer S's don't need the upgraded strikers, the harness is a non-issue and I'm pretty sure the existing brushes on your car can be trimmed or removed w/o issue.

I'd shoot for $2500 or less!!
