Default Cold Air Intake for '06

What are you guys using if anything in the way of a cold air intake on your AP2 S? I had been using an AEM V2 but I was always worried I'd suck up a puddle with that thing.

Short ram opinions? I don't see too many options for AP2's

Alot of people are happy with the K&N. I would choose that over the AEM any day.

If I were to replace the stock airbox it'd be K&N, proven gains over stock. From what I've seen, cold air intakes such as the AEM either lose power or has no effect on this car.

Gains are minimal... not sure if there is anything different between AP1 and AP2.

Took my dog to the vet to get neutered, they call it the AP2 conversion, still looks the same but the balls are gone.

Green: AP2 path
Red: AP1 path

Plenty of difference

I also have the K&N. Sounds pretty good. I'd say if you want an intake, just get that. No reason to go retarded and spend a million dollars on some JDM baller crap. It's a tube with an air filter at the end, not rocket science.

Dam Gino, you need some new jokes...

AP1 Driver is turning around because he's smart enough to know he's on the wrong side of the road...

I've had a Fujita CAI on my car for a while now with no issues. I slow down for deep puddles, but that's about it.
