Default cool mod for 10 bucks!

so i installed a password jdm intake on my car and it is so cool! but the heat soak sucks!!!!! so i made a heat shield (out of the broken cooling plate they sent me i got a new one free!!!!)!!! now its test time. the temps are first without the heat shield and heat tape!!!
i ran the car from cold for 15 min with ac on then tested temp. then a over 90mph pull down rt1 then tested it again the numbers are in

idle 15 min min ac on no heat shield or heat tape in the box
124*
after the run
156*

i put the heat shield on
ran the car 15 min ac on
142*
after fun
145*

thats 11* difference after the over 90mph run thats cool ,for a free heat shield and 10 bucks in heat tape!!!!!
tomorrow im gona run the car for 15 min with ac on cold and see if there is a difference in the start temp ill keep you guys posted

Did you have any fitment issues with your intake? I hear they are hit or miss with the fitment.
