I have looked into DOZENS of new systems and can't find one good manufacturing system that runs on Unix or Linux. Plus it is very hard to find anyone who supports Unix these days. I am not a huge fan of Windows but it seems that the more powerful manufacturing system run on that platform.

It will probably take well over a year to get 90% of our inventory in, and scannable. The important thing for us was to leave plenty of time before back to school (our Christmas season) to work out all the kinks.
