Daytona 500
anyone watch it?
A great race, now you know why Nascar is the fastest growing sport in the U.S.
I go to a few races every year and both of the Dover races. Anyone here go to Dover for the races?

I watched a part of it.
I thought it was basic NASCAR boring, running in a circle (oh, excuse me a tri-oval) with all the cars bunched up like a freeway drive to work, restrictor plate racing is a pathetic joke.
If you have not figured it out, I'm a Formula One fan.
AND, although I don't really follow NASCAR, I do appreciate the general awareness they have brought to auto racing in general. I really believe all sanctioning bodies have a better fan base because NASCAR has alerted people to the joy of Motorsports as a spectator sport. Thanks NASCAR, even though I think driving in a circle at 150+ MPH inside a concrete wall is kind of dumb.
