Of course the dealer I used "forgot" I didn't want a sticker on it - then proceeded to yank it off. I freaked, but there was no damage!

Of course they also tried to tack on a four grand "market adjustment" at closing too. That didn't happen either!

My dealer forgot I didn't want the sticker too. By the time I signed all the final paperwork, it was off.

I told them the only sticker I'd accept was attached to a free hardtop. He didn't go for that.

Well being a book dealer I play both sides of this issue.

We put a little orange sticker on every book we sell, Name ,address, website, etc.

Of course some people bitch about it!
But let me tell you how many times a day someone says I don

it's simple for me. i paid for the car. i'm not paying for your advertising. get a newspaper ad. that includes stickers, front plates, plate frames. if it has your dealership's name on it, it better be gone. come to think of it, i once had a dealer sneak on stickers at my first service after i told them ont to put them on for delivery. did my walkaround, and blew a gasket (i deserved an academy award for that outburst ). it was removed, along with two certificates for free new-car details. never used 'em.
