I recieved my group list yesterday and it looks like Gary is the only one in my group from Del/Val. Oh well, we will all have a BLAST on this drive.

For a little more scenic drive, and to avoid crossing the state, one possibility is to take 295 into Princeton. Cut West to Rt 31 N to 202 N. That goes through Flemington and Hillsborough, and hits 287 at the Somerville circle. (from Princeton to the Tappan Zee bridge area is just over an hour that way.)
Not nearly as fast as the other routes, but a little more scenic than the TP.
I'm also assuming that we are going up the Rockland (WEST) side of the Hudson, and crossing the Beacon Bridge (or one of the others) a little farther North, and not crossing the TZ and heading up the Westchester (EAST) side?

I know this sounds stupid, but I kind of want to drive through the city and see it while we are on the way.
