Heh,heh...which link should I believe, charlie

(looks like you're also having Comcast slow-down blues....is this what we pay $45/month for
Btw, PM me your e-mail because the old one doesn't seem to work any longer. What time does your plane leave... or are you already lurking from FL???))

HI-
I just signed up
. I've never met you guys in person yet but do you mind if I joined your convoy? Are all of you staying at the Headquarter hotel? I may have to do a budget hotel...
Some questions:
I've never autocrossed & I am going to try it out.
- where is a good place to get a helmet in Delaware Valley area? Any recommended helmet model? Would I be able to use those helmets for Motorcycle riding, if I decide to do something like that in the future?
- by the time of fall colors, my car would have about 7000 miles on it. Should I change oil (I am thinking of switching to synthetic oil then) before the colors meet?
- any other maintenance / checks to do?
- how dangerous is autocrossing - any chance that I would damage my car? Does Honda Warranty still cover the car, even if owners autocross?

am in rainy Forida now.. my email is chazbruno@yahoo.com lurking as usual
I have a ceremony to attend in Chester at 2, and my plan is to leave after that, but I am not sure what time. I am thinking ~3:30 and yes I do want to be up there for dinner. I was hoping to miss the rush hour traffic, but my wife had other ideas.
DEL VALLEY CONVOY TIP:
Fwiw, here is a great & scenic low traffic route to Fall Colors:
*NE PA turnpike extension to Rte. 209 exit... just beyond the first tunnel.
*Rte. 209 N (runs parallel with I-80 for a bit near Stroudsburg) thru Delaware Water Gap (no trucks on this section
) and continue N on 209 to intersect I-84 near Port Jervis
*Continue on I-84 EAST until you cross the Hudson; look for the Hotel around first exit over the river (Route 9)
I have driven this route a dozen times... 500% more pleasant than I-95/I-87 etc and related rush hour traffic
It's so simple that you can memorize it (well... maybe not Charlie...
).Should take about 3.5 hours from Mid-County/ Blue Route PA Turnpike entrance to the Hudson River crossing. I'll be coming back this route on Sunday 10/6 late afternoon from Maine... may run into
some of you dudes if you give it a try. Missing Fall Colors will break my
but I'll get over it...
