Default First Mod complete!

Hey whats up everyone

This past weekend the Koni Yellows and Swift springs finally went in after 2 weeks of collecting dust. I went to my cousin house and he was the reason I got this done so

I don't have any before and after pics. Well, at least no comparison pictures. I'll take a picture of it later today (wednesday).

These were basically the only pictures taken. We had a pretty rough time figuring out how to reassemble the shocks, even with the service manual and the DIY thread. The dremeling of the dust cover and rose bushings to fit the Koni shaft took the most time.

We were to concentrated on just doing it right and finishing the job because it was getting late. So here's 2 pictures.

They ride nice and damps well. The fronts are on full soft and the rears have not been adjusted and are on factory settings, whatever that may be.

Anyone know a good place to get it aligned? I might want to have it aligned to UK specs that I read about.

I thought you were going with coilovers.

Any pics of your cousins 420sx?

Susman Acura on rt38 Mappleshade can do your alignment. Have Jon do it

I couldn't think of which coilovers would suit best. And I figured that if i found the ideal ride setting for it, I probably wouldn't be touching the adjustments anymore. And I haven't ever to autox or track yet so i just think this suited better

i'll ask for more picttures of his 240

thanks frank. question for you, how are you running your header? there's no header shield for it so how do you keep temps down? PM me is fine too. Gonna be putting that header on soon so i wanna know if it this can work.

i heard heat wrapping the wrong things will crack it...be careful. and they sell heat shields that are better than the oem battery one..that and the biggest thing you can do is either cut some holes in your hood or get some cf one with vents...type v is what i want. with cf lip and cf backyard special trunk lip don't copy my car will be the dope shit

Arite thanks, I guess i shouldn't be too worried about putting it on then.

Also, what size piping is the J's test pipe you got? Do you know if it's the same as the collector size on the header (65mm)?

um, I have an amuse header which has a 63 or 65mm collector. I think the test pipe is 63mm because its the same size as my exhaust, which is 63mm.
